Who We Are

We are the dedicated workers of Planned Parenthood Mar Monte, and we’re coming together to form OUR union with SEIU Local 521.  By forming our union, we will be joining other Planned Parenthood workers in states like Colorado, Oregon, Maine, Minnesota, New York, Washington DC, and here in California that have won their union!

This website/page is managed by our Organizing Committee (OC)—made up of PP Mar Monte staff from various departments and clinic locations.

We believe that forming a union will help us secure fair wages, safe and adequate staffing, and the best and highest quality of possible care for our patients. When both worker and reproductive rights are under threat—moving forward together is critical to building a collaborative and inclusive workplace. With a stronger collective voice, we can ensure that decisions are made with input from those on the frontlines and that PP Mar Monte continues to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care without compromising the well-being of its workers.
